A peaceful fish that is sure to bring both color and activity to your reef or fish only aquarium. The ideal setup for the Katherine’s Fairy Wrasse is an established marine aquarium of at least 90 gallons aquascaped with a generous amount of live rock and plenty of open spaces to swim. These fish are known jumpers, so the tank should be covered at all times. They don't bury themselves in the sand at night, as do many other wrasses.
It should be kept in aquariums, which should have enough gaps and caves, as well as peaceful aquarium neighbors. Katherine’s Fairy Wrasse is considered reef safe and should be housed in aquariums with other peaceful tankmates.
The Katherine’s Fairy Wrasse diet should include vitamin enriched frozen/thawed mysis shrimp, vitamin enriched frozen/thawed brine shrimp and other meaty foods along with a quality marine flake and pellet food. Should be fed two to three times a day.
