The Bicolor Foxface (Siganus Uspi), also called the Bicolored Foxface or Uspi Rabbitfish, is a species of marine ray-finned fish, a rabbitfish belonging to the family Siganidae.

The Bicolor Foxface has a very beautiful coloration. The anterior and middle of the body are dark brown to black with the posterior and tail appearing a vibrant yellow. The head with a white head and anterior. There is a thick, white stripe that extends from the throat region to behind the eye. They also have large, beautiful eyes like a fox. The Bicolor Foxface protects itself with its venomous dorsal spines it raises when threatened. Maximum body length is 9.5 inches (24 cm), usually less in the aquarium.

The Bicolor Foxface is an active swimmer and requires larger aquarium. Because of this, and their active grazing behavior, they generally require a lot of swimming space in 125 gallon or larger aquariums.

It is a very peaceful species except when housed with other rabbitfish. Bicolor Foxface may be housed with more aggressive fish. Its predators will tend to leave it alone because of its venomous dorsal spines which it can raise when disturbed. Rabbitfish are generally reef-safe if they are well fed. If not, it is possible for them to nip at and consume some species of LPS and soft corals.

The Bicolor Foxface is omnivorous but requires large amounts of algae-based food in its diet. Feed at least two to three times daily or have dried macroalgae constantly available for grazing. In addition to the usual diet of frozen food, algae are very important for these rabbitfishes. They need rocks to graze on and offerings of marine algae and Nori. They also will accept flake foods and pellet foods. A good variety of foods will keep your Bicolor Foxface healthy and brightly colored.
