Filamented Gudgeon Goby (Ptereleotris Hanae), commonly known as the Thread-tail Dart-goby or Blue Hana Goby, is a species of dartfish native to the western Pacific Ocean.

A pale blue to light bluish-grey dartgoby, with two curved iridescent blue bands on the gill cover, usually 2-6 filaments trailing from the caudal fin, and a diagonally elongate reddish to violet spot on lower pectoral-fin base. Thread-tail Dartgobies are very wary, and retreat into crevices and burrows when threatened. This species can reach a length of 12 centimetres (4.7 in).

The Ptereleotris Hanae should be housed in a 30-gallon or larger aquarium with plenty of loose coral rubble, and requires ample swimming room with a sand bottom for burrowing. They do not normally naturally dig their own holes, but use ones made by other creatures. It may try to jump out of the aquarium or other small opening, so a tight-fitting lid is required.

Dartfish are peaceful fish and should be housed with tankmates of similar temperament. Rarely will it become aggressive towards other fish. Filamented Gudgeon Gobies are peaceful fish and shouldn't bother other fish, coral or inverts in your tank.

Filamented Gudgeon Gobies are carnivores and require a die that is rich in meaty foods. Foods like mysis and brine shrimp, high quality meaty frozen foods and high quality flake and pellet foods will keep your Filamented Gudgeon Goby healthy and happy. It should be fed at least daily.
