In the wild, Lubbock's fairy Wrasse  (Cirrhilabrus Lubbocki)  is found in Indonesia and the western Pacific. 

 

The Multicolored Lubbock's Fairy Wrasse the male has a bright yellow and red body with blue, brown, and white ornamentation. The females generally do not have quite as bold markings as the males. When courting, the male will display an increased color intensity. Reaching a max size of 3.5 inches, Lubbock’s Wrasse are peaceful and will do well in either a fish-only or a reef tank. The Lubbock's Fairy Wrasse will not bother fish or invertebrates, making them a perfect addition to any reef aquarium. 

 

A 55 gallon or larger aquarium, either fish-only or reef, with a shaded area is recommended. They should have plenty of places to hide which live rock excellent for. These fish will also like to bury themselves, so a sand substrate will is a good choice. Wrasse are considered jumpers make sure your aquarium has a tight-fitting canopy or screen cover to prevent the Wrasse from jumping out of your aquarium. 

 

They will be compatible with most fish as they are peaceful and so will generally get on okay with other fish. The fish to watch out for is the larger fish that might want to eat it. Do not keep them with slow swimming fish such as seahorses or pipefish. Because they don't like fast swimming fish that can also compete for food.

 

Easily adjusts to captive diet. Feed a varied diet consisting of finely chopped chunks of meaty foods. These foods include krill, raw table shrimp, squid, clam and mussel. It is also a good idea to occasionally supplement with some type of herbivore diet. Will learn to eat flake, pellet and other commercial foods.
